- How does the script reader work?
- StageRead organizes your script into scenes and lines, then plays the other characters' dialogue with voices you choose so you can hear the scene while you rehearse yours. You assign a voice per character, adjust pacing with buffer time, and follow along with synced highlighting. It is built for when a human reader is not available—not to replace the people you learn and perform with.
- Is there a mobile app?
- StageRead is a web app you use in the browser. It works on desktop and mobile browsers; dedicated native apps are not required for core rehearsal features.
- What file types can I upload?
- The product supports common text sources such as PDF, Word (.docx), and plain text. Upload your script, let processing finish, then pick a scene and start rehearsing.
- How does billing work?
- Pick from three straightforward plans—Starter, Pro, or Premium—right in the app when you're ready to subscribe. You can switch plans, update payment details, or cancel whenever you need to from your account's billing area.
